Bob-s Big Give Golf Touranment

3rd Annual Born to Be Worn Fundraiser

On 11/1/19 we held our 3rd annual Holiday fundraiser at Blount Fine Foods. Born 2B Worn generously donated ALL profits to help fund BBG’s outreach efforts. We raised over 1000k thanks to everyone shopping with a cause! Bob even got in the spirit and modeled a popular hat!

BBG and Team Blount Assemble Over 200 Thanksgiving Bags

Wayfair sent over a group of volunteers to help assist the Sewall family and the BBG team make over 200 Thanksgiving bags to hand out to families in Newport County and Providence. We were gearing up for our largest Thanksgiving outreach to date with two different locations!

Happy Thanksgiving!

True to the spirit of giving back (when giving thanks!), ‘tis the season for Bob’s Big Give to be actively giving out in our community. With a year under its belt as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, Bob and a few of his elves were out and about this week dropping off turkey dinners to benefit families in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Make A Difference: The Time Is Now!

If you happened to notice the calendar last week, you know that Autumn has arrived. And if you’ve been in a big-box store any time since Labor Day, you’ve heard holiday music and seen the holiday lights and lawn inflatables being merchandised. While it is probably too soon for most of us to get into the holiday mood, it is time to start thinking about what "giving" should really mean this holiday season, and if our charity is to have timely impact, contributing starts now.

RI Community Food Bank

In every community in Rhode Island, there are individuals and families impacted by hunger. Far too many people still require assistance putting food on the table. And food insecurity greatly affects some of our most vulnerable citizens. The health of children and seniors suffers when they have limited access to adequate nutritious food.

According to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), 12 percent of Rhode Islanders, 51,000 households, are food insecure, meaning they are often unsure where their next meal will come from due to lack of resources. The most severe conditions associated with hunger are reported by 4.7 percent of our state’s residents, 20,000 households.

Bob’s Big Give & The NFL Players Association Support Toy Drive

NFL BBGBBG is having a Toy drive supported by the NFLPA. “ We are always looking to do more near the holiday’s to help kids. This year we are proud to have the NFLPA support the cause. We know these events make a difference and it is the true meaning of Christmas”, said BBG founder Bob Sewall. The event will be held at the Bounce Sporting Club December 20th at 9:00 PM.
